In 1950 Audrey Hepburn took part in a photo shoot at Kew Gardens for a London magazine. The result was a lovely array of rare photos of the beautiful, budding star.

Diahann Carroll and Sidney Poitier on the set of Paris Blues (1961). Poitier and Carroll had a very publicized affair but according to Ms. Carroll he had promised to divorce his wife for her if she divorced her husband for him. Well, she did divorce her husband at the time (Monte Kay) and then Sidney had a change of heart and ended his relationship with Diahann and went back to his wife. She now advises that women stay away from married men. Well said honey.

The Hair I Was Talking About

                  Natalie in Inside Daisy Clover (1965) with a hairstyle that is less than flattering. Throughout the whole movie she looked like a little boy chimney sweep. In any case she is honestly one of my favorite actresses, I really couldn't pick a top favorite. I know she was just as beautiful on the inside as she was on the out.

Happy Birthday Natalie Wood

I have loved her and her films for so long. Even the not so great films she did like Inside Daisy Clover (1965) I still found her so magnetic and wonderful. Her haircut in that movie really did make me want to scream though. She would have been 73 years young today. She lives on in her films and still captivates people with those huge brown eyes and distinctive voice. I always thought that she and Elizabeth Taylor had two of the most detectable voices. I could pick them out anywhere. Her character Wilma Dean Loomis in Splendor in the Grass (1961) made me want to cry every time I watched her mental and emotional stuggle. She made it all too real.
